Arizona Elk Hunts

Elk Hunting in Arizona is some of the best in the world and revered by many as the best elk hunting destination. Our guides live to chase the bugle every September; however, we have also had excellent success in the late-season hunts. If you are looking to go on an elk hunt and don't want to wait years for a rut tag, give us a call to discuss late-season archery. Late-season archery seasons have a much higher draw chance and still provide excellent trophy opportunities.

ALL OF OUR ARIZONA ELK HUNTING IS BY DRAW ONLY. The State of Arizona does not participate in the landowner tag program. The Elk draw starts in mid-January, and the deadline to apply is in early February. The applications for Arizona are accepted by US Mail and online. Interested elk hunters should contact us as soon as possible. We charge a nominal fee to assist potential hunters in navigating the draw system. If you are to draw a tag and book with us, we will apply that fee to your hunt.

Arizona has a bonus point system, which increases your odds of drawing a tag. Each time you are not drawn for a particular species, you receive a bonus point. If you are not drawn, you will not be charged the tag fee, but Arizona Game and Fish will keep the application fee and hunting license costs and give you a bonus point. It will provide you with a better chance of obtaining a tag for the next year's draw. Bonus points are becoming an essential part of successfully drawing Arizona elk tags.
